The Pearl Wharf body-skimming pencil dress is cut in 88% polyester 12% elastane scuba crepe and finished in cool slate. Cut in our pearl and slate palette and held in stock in Orpington.

How this dress is put together

88% polyester 12% elastane scuba crepe. Seams are stitched at a consistent tension and French-seamed on fine cloth so nothing shows through under light. Necklines and armholes are faced rather than bound, zips are set into a taped seam so they run straight through a fitted body, and the hem is weighted to the fabric: a deeper turn on drapey viscose so it hangs true, a narrow rolled hem on bias satin.

Care

Dry clean recommended for lined gowns, spot clean small marks with cool water and a plain cloth, store on a padded hanger with the skirt supported, steam to release creases, do not tumble dry.
